Before joining ALI, Adrian worked in animal law for more than a decade with the Victorian group Lawyers for Animals.

He was a principal lawyer with the Fitzroy Legal Service where he ran the night service and supervised specialist legal clinics to recover unpaid wages for migrants, resolve civil disputes for taxi drivers and address tenancy and debt issues arising from the COVID pandemic.

He has also run his own practice and worked for Justice Connect, Footscray and St Kilda community legal centres in casework, duty lawyer and legal policy roles.
